The ENVIRO conference has been held since 2016 and is a Czechoslovak interdisciplinary meeting of environmental experts.
Meetings regularly alternate between the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.
The main objective of the conference is to exchange practical and legislative experiences of both countries in the field of waste management, air protection, climate, EIA and integrated prevention or BREF/BAT technologies.
The conference is attended by representatives of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, the Czech and Slovak Environmental Inspectorates, representatives of state administration and self-government, environmental and health monitoring experts and operators of major industrial and energy companies.
